Maple City's Brandon Terry Wins 2026 American League Gold Glove Award

Awards week continues as we will be announcing 2026 Regular Season Awards leading up to the 2026 ORWBL World Series. All 6 Awards were voted on by the 14 Managers as 3 points were awarded for a 1st place vote, 2 points for a 2nd place vote, and 1 point for a 3rd place vote.

Congratulations to the 2026 American League Gold Glove Award Winner, Brandon Terry of the Maple City Magic! Terry becomes just the 3rd player in ORWBL history to win a Gold Glove Award in consecutive years as he joins Seth Campbell (2017-2018) and Kody Webb who won took home Gold Glove honors a record 4 straight years between 2019-2022. Terry (3) now sits just 1 behind Kody Webb (4) for the most Gold Glove Awards won in a career.

This is now the 3rd time that Brandon Terry has been named the American League Gold Glove Award winner as he previously took honors in 2023 with the Truffle Butter and again in 2025 with BFAM. After winning World Series titles with the South Bend Truffle Butter and Elkhart BFAM, Brandon Terry joined the Maple City Magic ahead of the 2026 season after spending much of the past half decade beating them. Terry's presence was felt immediately as he played a massive role in helping Maple City finish with a 25-5 record, tying their best regular season in franchise history.

The 3x Gold Glove winner has continued his stellar play on both sides of the ball in the Postseason as he helped lead Maple City to their 1st American League Pennant since 2021. After winning his 3rd Gold Glove with a 3rd different team, he will now look to win his 4th World Series title on a 3rd different team as the Magic prepare for the 2026 World Series vs. New Carlisle where Terry's hands will be on full display.
